Video Spotlight: 9Ten Mobb "Lights Down Low"

Check out the latest single and video from the 9Ten Mobb titled "Lights Down Low". This song has a nice 90's R&B feel on it for the hook and a smooth, laid back beat. Each member of the 9Ten Mobb does a great job putting down hot verses over the track. The video contains nice visuals. The Blast Blog:  How is everything going with you Az-Iz?
Az-Iz:  Pretty good.  Got this whole mess going on with IMF and I am getting ready to sue, but that is a convo for another day (laughs).

The Blast Blog: What projects are you working on right now?
Az-Iz:  I am currently working on my self-titled album Az Iz as well as my mixtape which is currently titled 2 Weeks Notice.  I also am planning a campaign to conquer the West Coast stay tuned for that.

The Blast Blog: This interview will be more to push your appearance on The Giant Blast Mobile App., so lets talk about apps. what types of apps do you use on your devices?
Az-Iz:  I use ANY app that makes life and work easier (laughs).  So I think, pretty much every app I can fit on my phone is on there (laughs).

The Blast Blog:  What are your favorite apps?
Az-Iz:  Of course I utilize the Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter apps heavily for personal promotion, but I also use several other apps such as “Live 365 Radio” app to listen to the Realistik Radio channel.  I also use the MLB at bat app as I am a HUGE Detroit Tigers fan and I GOT TO stay on top of the games no matter where I am at.

The Blast Blog:  Have you ever had your music featured on an App. before?
Az-Iz:  Can’t say that I have…

The Blast Blog:  If you could put the readers onto new and different apps what would you recommend?
Az-Iz:  I’m really not that knowledgeable on technology, I am kinda “old school” (laughs).  I do use the “B-Rhymes” app when I am in the lab and I also use Spotify, and if you like a variety in your music, I would definitely recommend the “iHeart Radio” app as well.

The Blast Blog: Getting back to the music, what artists in the game are you checking for right now?
Az-Iz:   Mainly myself and my bro, General Grown.  Outside of that, my FAVORITE artists to listen to are Keyz 2 ThaGame, Troy Ave, Hopsin, The Original Playboi, IXE in Jersey and T.I., but there are a LOT of artists out there right now doing the damn thing, they just aren’t getting noticed.  The music business has become sooooo watered down and people tend to follow trends, which makes it hard for new, original artists to get heard, but know this, we WILL be heard … #snowdat

The Blast Blog:  Where did the term "Snowdat" come from?
Az-Iz:  I picked it up from my people in Jersey.  It is slang for “Just Know That” it’s a pretty popular phrase, I basically just took it on as a sort of social media signature if you will (laughs).

The Blast Blog:  Is there anything else you would like to mention in this interview?  Any links you would like to plug?
Az-Iz:  Indeed… Make sure ya’ll go get my newest single “Time Is Money” off of my upcoming, self-titled album.  The album will be released in just a few weeks, but in the mean time, "Time Is Money” will be available May 5th… also, shout out to my team @ Realistik Media Network and #GMT … Shouts out to my producers Young Goku and Brandon Dyer and as ALWAYS … #SaluteTheFans
