DJ Colossal's iPod Pick: Mr. Boom Boom Bang's THE REBUILD Mixtape
This week's iPod pick is on Mr. Boom Boom Bang's latest mixtape The Rebuild. This iPod pick isn't dedicated to one particular track on the mixtape, but the entire mixtape! You can listen to the entire project uploaded on my datpiff page here at
http://www.datpiff.com/Mr-Boom-Boom-Bang-The-Rebuild-Mixtape.498003.html
Although there isn't any song on here that is truly "wack", in my opinion some of the highlights on this project are "Justify", "Eyes on Me", "Feel Good", "Listen", "Good Ones", "Rebuild", and "Trust Nobody", but be sure to take a listen to the entire mixtape and see for yourself!!!

Run an Audit on The Record Labels You Sign With (Music Business Advice from DJ Todd Bladz)
The Audit:
Be sure to run audits on the label you have been signed with. The reason for audits is to
establish what the label has been spending on you to be successful and what they have
recouped in the budget they used on your behalf. You can run an audit by contacting an
accountant or independent council, such as your lawyer, to find what the label is spending
on you.
Be advised that the label may even try to hide the fact that they owe you money and they will try to bribe you with certain things. If you don't think this exist look at some of Tupac's videos talking about Death Row and how when he started asking questions about how much money he owed them they gave him things to keep his mind off the books.
PLEASE!!!! CHECK THE BOOKS, This can
play a pivotal role in your success especially
if you looking for a new home to do your
music or a label wants to offer you more
dividends then the current label you are
with.
Pick up Kashif's "Everything You Need To Know
About The Recording Industry." This is a great book and can help you learn more about the goings on in the industry, from a business stand point. Here is link for you to buy the book. http://www.amazon.com/Everything-Better-about-Record-Industry/dp/1885726031 Be advised that you may find out that the label has stealing from you the whole time you are signed with them.
Start your career with knowledge and not foolishness. If you wish to read more on my Industry Tips you can find me at this link: http://www.theblastblog.blogspot.com/2013/07/intellectual-property-101-music.html Remember,
