R.I.P. Etta James

R&B legend and Etta James died Friday at a Riverside hospital of complications from leukemia. She was 73.  The singer, known for such hits as "At Last", "Tell Mama" and "Loser Weepers", would have been 74 on Wednesday.

Special Ed, The Giant Blast, and more came out to support Ketchmore Kids

On Dec. 10th 2011, Ketchmore Kids held it's 7th Annual Christmas Toy Drive in front of Master Kutz Beauty & Barber on Ashley Rd. in Charlotte, NC.  The event was to raise money and toys for underprivileged children in the city.  The Giant Blast, Legendary hip hop recording artist Special Ed, other special invited guests, recording artists, and local radio stations such as My 92.7 FM and WPEG Power 98 came out to show support and lend a helping hand.  Check out some of the footage from the event at the videos below. There were live performances, free food and free hair cuts for the children. Check them out.
